Remembering Rascal Storrie Brown

"There are no words that can truly express how much we loved our four legged fluffy baby. No words can describe exactly how much he enriched our lives. We will miss his smiling, happy face...and yes I do believe he knew how to smile. We will miss his funny sideways, wiggly, tail wagging run when he was exited to see us. I will miss the funny faces he gave me when he was happy and I could tell by the look on his fuzzy face when he was disappointed in me, I think it was much more often than I want to admit. He was a big fan of hiking, bike and squirrel chasing, camping, canoeing, chasing squeaky balls, eating hotdogs, and hanging out by the campfire after a busy day of doing it all, and then wake you up with a sweet little whine and a wet nose in your ear before the sun was up the next morning so we could do it all again. We packed in so many wonderful adventures in his long but way too short, little whirlwind life and he gave it his all. I was always envious of his energy and love for life. He was a force of nature. He would look at me with those beautiful golden yellow eyes and I felt like he was looking into my very soul. He knew exactly what time we would be home from work and he waited anxiously at his spot on the sofa watching the door. I will miss walking in the front door after a long, busy night at work and seeing his happy, excited dance. He was always happy to see us, even when he finally got so old and tired and full of pain he could barely stand up. I will miss all this and so much more, too much to put into words here. He went everywhere with us, and I will take my sweet baby with us everywhere we go when his ashes come back to us, just like always. Life just won't be the same and our pain is almost too much to bear but I wouldn't trade the memory of our time together for any reason. My sweet boy, I didn't deserve you but I will remember you and love you forever." - The Brown Family
